National best selling author Carmen Green was born in Buffalo, NY and had plans to study law before becoming a published author. While raising her three children, she wrote her first book on legal pads, before selling her first novel in 1993.

Since that time she has sold 34 novels and novellas, had one book, Commitments, made into a TV movie, and sold and produced a play in 2010. In addition to writing, she is a Professor at The Art Institute of Atlanta where she teaches English to art students and on the weekends, she teaches writing classes to elders who are interested in memoir writing.

In her spare time, Carmen likes live music concerts, gardening, quiet tropical vacations, and long cruises that don’t require her to do anything but read, sleep and eat. Her next novel Harlequin Kimani That Perfect Moment will be released July 19, 2011.
