The Wind in the Willows feels like the kind of book a bookseller starts matching to readers before the first stack is even gone.

Kenneth Grahame,David Petersen has it shelved in f20 sequential art - kids, and that usually tells me the hand-sell depends on whether the book offers voice, shape, and a sense that the book knows what it is doing.

I would rather hand-sell one book with a point of view than ten blankly competent ones, and this at least sounds pointed in the right direction. IDW Publishing has it listed for 20-Dec-2025.
